Giovanni, our executive chef, and his coworkers, will open for you the doors of Italian and Tuscan traditions through the flavors of food and wine. Different cooking classes for beginners, intermediate or professionals, suit participants of all cooking levels. The wine classes are given by a professional teams of sommeliers.
We offer one day experiences, starting with the Grocery shopping tour, to easy cooking class for lunch and dinners. Check out our tour proposals and choose the program that fits your needs. Giovanni will take you by the hand and leads you to the central market of Florence, while picking up the freshest ingredients for your lunch, and learning the techniques of shopping at the beautiful, colorful and caothic central market of Florence. Then to the school, in a small and intimate, “house-like” atmosphere, to discover how to prepare bruschettas.. home-made pasta (you will prepare it by yourselves!) and a main course according to “la moda dello Chef” (as he likes.. changes everyday)

As you taste you will learn. Along with our expert CHEF, Giovanni, visit the central Market of San Lorenzo, a magical place hidden from the tourist paths. Meld among locals picking up their specialty foods. Meet the butchers, the bakers, and the farmers selling vegetables from their gardens. You will learn how to distinguish the highest quality ingredients and as an added bonus, how to bargain! A tasting path of the most important products this land has to offer and teach you traditions and little tricks for preparing local specialties. You will taste made cheeses of different ages and areas; olive oil; cold cuts & local Chianti wine!
